The purpose of the Ted Stamm Catalogue Raisonné is to research and document works by Ted Stamm between 1969 and 1984. This comprehensive long-term project seeks to create the definitive scholarly resource for Ted Stamm’s complete oeuvre, documenting his paintings, works on paper, mail art, designator street art, photographs, studies, and related source materials for publication in print and digital formats.
Ted Stamm Catalogue Raisonné researchers collaborate closely with collectors, galleries, institutions, and private owners to compile comprehensive archival documentation of the artist's works. Researchers are cataloging all known works by Ted Stamm and assembling records related to their physical details, inscriptions, marks, preparatory studies, as well as provenance, exhibition, publication, and biographical histories. Studio process documentation, writings, and photographs provide additional scholarly context. When published, the Ted Stamm Catalogue Raisonné will serve as the definitive source for Stamm scholarship and expand understanding of the artist's significant contributions to contemporary art.
Call for Works
The Ted Stamm Estate has initiated a public call for works focused on the documentation of paintings, works on paper, mail art, designator street art, photographs, studies, and any related materials. The Ted Stamm Estate seeks to build comprehensive knowledge about Ted Stamm's body of work through collaboration with collectors, galleries, and institutions worldwide.
The Ted Stamm Estate invites owners of Ted Stamm artworks, photographs, or any source material believed to be by the artist to contact the research team. We thank you in advance for your participation, which constitutes a valued contribution to ongoing Ted Stamm scholarship. Submitted materials will become part of the Ted Stamm Archives upon completion of the project. Owner information will be kept confidential upon request.
